Privacy Policy

Make My Biodata helps you create a marriage biodata and download it as a PDF. This page explains what we collect, why, how it is protected, and the choices you have. The short version: your biodata content is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone except the payment and email providers needed to run the service.

What we collect

• Biodata content. The details you type into the creator — name, family details, contact information, horoscope fields, and your photograph.
• Account identity. When you choose to verify, your email address, or basic Google profile fields (name, email, avatar). We do not store Google access tokens or passwords.
• Payment references. Order, payment, and refund identifiers from our payment processor (Razorpay). Card or bank details never touch our servers.
• Technical metadata. IP address (stored only as a hash), browser type, and timestamps needed for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

What we never collect or do

• We never send your biodata field values or photo URLs to analytics tools.
• We never show ads, sell data, or share your content with data brokers.
• We never make your biodata publicly accessible or give it a shareable public link.

How your content is protected

• Photos are stored on private storage, stripped of hidden metadata (EXIF/GPS), and served only to you through an authorized controller.
• Drafts you have not claimed are reachable only from the browser that created them, via an encrypted, HttpOnly cookie.
• Generated PDFs live on private storage and are re-authorized against your purchase on every download.
• Sign-in links are single-use, expire in 15 minutes, and only their hashes are stored.

Retention

• Anonymous drafts that are never touched again are deleted after 30 days.
• Generated PDF files are removed after 30 days; they can be regenerated at any time from your biodata.
• Biodatas you own stay until you delete them. Deletion removes the content from active systems; encrypted backups age out on their normal cycle.
• Payment records are kept as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.

Service providers

We use Razorpay for payments, Google for optional sign-in, and an email delivery provider for sign-in links and receipts. Each receives only the minimum information needed for its function.

Your choices

• Edit or delete a biodata at any time from My Biodatas.
• Request an export of your account data or permanent account deletion by emailing help@makemybiodata.app from your sign-in address.
• Clear your on-device draft at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
